The book was wire stitched, a testament to our commitment to quality and durability. To cover a wide range of the curriculum, we printed a set of 22 different titles. They all had the same print spec which meant a big saving on the production set-up costs versus printing one title at a time. This is a clever way of dramatically reducing your print expenditure and means you have a larger product selection to promote to schools.
They chose matt lamination for the front cover finish for a more subtle aesthetic. The option of course would be gloss, which is engaging to young readers but the shine can be slightly over bearing at times and an acquired taste.
