Betty approached Ex Why Zed to print the Dissertation for her BA Hons Fashion Retail Management. We advised and offered help when the files arrived to ensure this brilliant book arrived exactly as expected. Initially some content was very close to the spine gutter so we recommended this be adjusted. A few files later and it was ready for print! Betty was keen to have no shine on the pages so matt stock was chosen which reproduces text and images superbly.
The slightly smaller than A4 size gives the book a more unique appearance. The size, coupled with the choice of stock and her well laid out artwork (we love a full page photograph!) helped make this one of the best final major projects we printed in 2014.
The winning solutions used are strong typography on the masthead, the chapter titles and headings. The styling is professional and befitting of a fashion magazine you’d find on a high street shelf.
We can’t claim to have read every single word but I’m sure her tutor’s enjoyed it to give her top marks ????
