The University of the Creative Arts (UCA) has always been a hub of creativity and innovation, and the 2013 Graphic Design Degree Show was no exception. The catalogue was designed as an A5 book, with a 4pp cover onto 300gsm Uncoated, and Matt Lamination to the outer. The text was printed onto 120gsm Uncoated, full colour throughout. The catalogue was trimmed, collated, and perfect bound, resulting in a sleek and professional finish.
The catalogue design was top class, with a warm grey and green combination on the cover that worked really well aesthetically. The oversize spine has been often replicated since this publication, showing the influence and trend-setting nature of this design. Despite being a decade ago, this remains one of our favourite degree show catalogues because of the styling.
