Ex Why Zed Print worked closely with the Kent School of Architecture to meticulously select print specifications and design elements that would best represent the students’ work. The catalogues were produced in a distinctive 230x195mm portrait book format, offering a unique and visually appealing presentation. The cover, consisting of a 4-page spread, was printed on 270gsm GFSmith Colorplan Ebony Black paper, providing a luxurious and striking foundation for the catalogues. To add an extra touch of elegance, a spot varnish was applied to the front and back covers, creating a visually captivating effect.
Ex Why Zed Print’s commitment to delivering top-quality results was evident throughout the printing process. The inner pages, spanning 256 pages, were printed on 120gsm Evolution Uncoated paper, providing a balance of durability and a pleasing tactile experience. Additionally, a 6-page section onto 170gsm Gloss paper was incorporated, allowing for the accentuation of key architectural elements and projects. The meticulous four-colour printing process ensured that every detail was accurately represented, capturing the depth and nuance of each design.
