Conor McDonnell’s journey as a photographer is as captivating as the images he captures. His career took off in 2008 when, as a 16-year-old, he attended a gig at the Manchester Academy with a basic camera in hand. Despite his initial photographs being blurry, the experience had him hooked and changed the trajectory of his life.
McDonnell’s talents have taken him from the front of sweaty gigs to the expanse of the African savannah. He has documented countless tours with Calvin Harris, created artwork for Sir David Attenborough, and even photographed the wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. His work has been recognised and celebrated, with one of his photos becoming the most liked photo on Instagram at that time.
