The Central St Martins Jewellery Catalogue 2022 was a project that required a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the client’s needs. The catalogue was designed to showcase the work of the BA Jewellery Design students at Central St Martins, a constituent college of the University of the Arts London. The catalogue was to be used as a degree show catalogue, a critical component of the students’ final year exhibition.
The catalogue was printed in an A5 portrait format, with a 4pp cover onto 300gsm Silk. The outer cover was finished with a matt lamination and foiling 1912 to give it a sleek, professional look. The text was printed onto 130gsm Silk, with four colours throughout. The catalogue was perfect bound, ensuring a sturdy and durable finish.
The design of the catalogue was a collaborative effort between the students and our design team. The students provided the content, including the jewellery designs, photographs, and text, while our team worked on the layout and formatting. The result was a cohesive and effective layout that gave ample room for the class to show off their work.
One of the unique features of this project was the addition of holographic foiling to the cover.
