The issue of plastic in the ocean and our usage in every day life is extremely prominent now and Duffy’s Lucky Escape should take some credit in bringing this to everyone’s attention. The authors ambition is to get a copy in front of every child in the country and have so far reached 100,000 with many then lobbying their local MPs and companies to act. Teresa May recently announced a £60m fund to tackle the issue which is great news and hopefully there’s more to come.
