The Kingston University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture returned to Ex Why Zed for the 4th year to produce the next in their series of publications documenting their architecture research studies.
In keeping with previous incarnations Cyclus Offset was used for both the cover and the text pages. Being a 100% recycled stock it has a grainy finish and off-white appearance that lends itself well to architectural drawings in a printed book. As an uncoated stock text also reproduces very well onto it.
The run was split between 6 covers each taking one letter from their research partners, UNESCO, to result in a visually striking finished set of books.
With the exhibition opening on the Saturday we litho printed and finished the whole job in 4 working days and delivered in advance of the event’s launch.
