Sukie Studio, known for their hand-printed notebooks and personalised travel journals, approached us to create a promotional z-fold folded leaflet. The goal was to promote their brand and products in a unique and engaging way.
The leaflet was designed with a trimmed, flat size of 99.4cm x 20cm. It was printed in CMYK on both sides on 300gsm Edixion Offset (white uncoated) paper. The leaflet featured 8 vertical fold lines with a spine, creating a concertina effect. This design allowed for a large area of content to be displayed in neat, succinct areas. The reverse side was designed as a large continuous image, creating a super wide ‘banner’ effect.
The design process was a collaborative effort between Sukie Studio and our team at Ex Why Zed. Inspired by Sukie Studio’s Instagram feed, we created a design that reflected their brand’s aesthetic and ethos. The leaflet was designed to be eco-friendly, aligning with Sukie Studio’s commitment to sustainable practices.

This project reinforced the importance of understanding the client’s brand and vision. By immersing ourselves in Sukie Studio’s brand, we were able to create a leaflet that truly represented them. It also highlighted the benefits of folded leaflet printing, particularly concertina leaflets, in creating engaging and unique promotional materials.
